DAY 7 - YOUR FIVE FAVORITE SONGS
I love music! I listen to pretty much everything. So, this is going to be hard to narrow down just 5 songs. Now mind you, these songs can change at anytime depending on the type of mood I'm in. I'm a moody person and music, weather and certain other things can affect my mood. So, I will try and narrow it down to just 5 songs. Here it goes.
1. Hate On Me - Jill Scott
2. Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
3. Make Me Whole - Amel Larrieux
4. The Greatness - Raheem DeVaughn
5. We Are (Champions) - Derek Minor, feat. Spzrkt -
The last song is my utter favorite, especially when I'm feeling down, frustrated, or just having what I call a blue day. The song We Are (Champions) by Derek Minor always makes me feel better. I try to blow up my speakers when I play it. If you've never heard of the song, go on spotify, iTunes or any other source that plays music or just do a google search and listen to it. IT IS AWESOME!!!!!! I bet you you will feel better after listening to it and singing along with the chorus, but you have to sing the chorus at the TOP of your lungs. LOL That's the only way to sing it! 😆
Hate On Me by Jill Scott is my theme music! Everybody needs theme music, something that plays in your head or you play on your from when you enter a room. Yes, I can be a little DIVA like or a lot Diva like. So what! We all have that in us. You sometimes have to let it out!
The other songs are just great songs. Make Me Whole by Amel Larrieux is my song for my husband! It was sung at our wedding. It says everything I feel for my hubby. Yes, he can drive me crazy at times, but I know for a fact that I drive him crazy, but we still love each other and we know that we are each others support system. I'm crazy about the guy!
The Greatness by Raheem DeVaughn is my pick me up song when I'm feeling self conscious about myself. I love it and it's great to dance around the house too, even though my pups look at me funny. LOL
Now Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen is a classic and you have to sing along to it. It livens up any party get together. Everyone knows the lyrics or at least the important ones.
