DAY 15 - WHERE WILL YOU BE IN FIVE YEARS!

I am not sure where I will be in the next five years.  I would hope to be alive first and foremost.  Now a days you never know.  I pray that God will not call me home right now.  However, I am in the process of getting my goals together for the second half of the year.  I'll list a few of them below.  They are:

1.  I would like to be 80 pounds lighter by the end of the year.  This I am working on, but I have not been consistent with my exercise or my healthy eating.  So, I am working on that now and trying to get more consistent.

2.  Starting my business.  This is a work in progress.  You know how you have so many ideas, but you don't want to waste time or money on something that isn't going to be successful.  I am going to have to narrow down them all and decide on a few of them to begin the process.  I have soo many ideas and I need to start implementing them.

3.  Growing the joint business venture that my husband and I have together (commercial cleaning).  This is already in the works.  We've been in business for over 10 years, but we have not been organized like we should.  This is the year that we are going to get organized and serious about growing this business.  We've already started doing some re-branding and downsizing.

4.  Get a better spiritual walk with God.  (Always a work in progress).  This is always going to be something that I am going to be doing for the rest of my life.  Man is not perfect and I know I have issues that I have to work on.  I know if i would read my bible more, go to church more and even bible study, then I would grow spiritually.  This is something that my hubby and I have talked about a lot and will be trying to do more frequently.

5.  Working on improving my finances (there not bad, but they can always better).  This is something that my hubby and I have been doing off and on for years.  We review our finances and decide what we need to do and what we need to work on.  Is it easy, NOPE, but it has to be done because your finances can keep you from so many things.  Plus, with the economy like it has been and how it is now, you want to have some savings.  We're not getting any younger.

6.  Moving to the country.  I'm originally from the city, Maryland  to be exact; however, I have grown to love living in the south.  The older I get the less I want to be around alot of people.  Not that I don't like people, but I don't like our houses really close together.  I want more space in between the homes and I know country living is that.  Plus, my love is from the country and when we were dating, going to visit him, it was peaceful and quiet.  I realized that how much I liked that.  So, that is something that we are going to look into doing in the next five years.

Where will you be in five years? or ten?  Leave a comment below and lets talk about it.  Well gotta scoot.  Later Gators!  TBJ
