TO HAVE A WEBSITE OR NOT?

Why does hosting or creating a website has to be so hard, complicated, and EXPENSIVE!?!?  All I want is to have a decent website to promote our businesses that reaches our client base and isn't trying to make me pay two arms, a leg and three kidneys, plus my soul.  GADZOOKS!    In this day and age, you have to have an online presence and a social media presence.  We had an online presence, but that was all it was a presence.  It really didn't do anything or help to generate any business.  Plus, I didn't do anything to help it generate business.  Now, I know better and I can do better.

I'm still trying to determine which is the best and most affordable web hosting site for  our business.  I have been doing my research, but I want the most bang that my dollar can give me and a little more if I can get it.  So, if anyone has any idea, let me know.  Later Gators!
