Starting an Empire!

The Empire Begins

My husband and I own a commercial cleaning business.  We are a small company, but we are growing and I know it is due to the grace of God and our "pride and integrity" (company motto) that keeps us going and gaining new clients.  It isn't easy, but it is so worth it.  

Lately, I have been thinking that we need another stream of income, preferably passive income.  For those of you that don't know what passive income is, it is income that is generated without you having to actually be present to create it.  For example, you create a book or some other item and you promote it to be sold on your website or the internet.  That is passive or soft income.  I have been thinking of creating a business, but I have not decided what.  I am looking to the Lord for guidance on that, so I will be patient.  Let me insert my disclaimer here.  I do incorporate my beliefs in my blog and if you do not want to read or see it, then you may want to find another blog to read.  Sorry, Not Sorry!

Now back to what I was talking about.  I want to create my own business; however, I want to make sure that it is something that is needed and wanted.  Plus, I want to make sure that God cosigns what it should be.  So, I will be slow moving with this.  I will be blogging about the process.  Hopefully, it will help someone by seeing what I go through and not make the same mistakes I make.  I hope what I use in my process will inspire them to start their own business.  Well, now that I have put it out there in the atmosphere, I have to get started doing.  Later!
