Blogger Challenge

Now that school is over for me, I can devote more time to blogging.  I can't do too much because I still work, A LOT!  I am thinking about doing a challenge.  I was recently on pinterest and I came across a board that was talking about a 31 day blogger challenge.  I am really seriously considering it.

So, the first thing on the 31 day blogger challenge is to introduce yourself.  I have done that, but I can post that below again for those that missed that post.    So, just read the brief intro below and if you want to know more about me, just ask.  I don't mind answering, if it is not too personal.

Here is my brief intro.

 My name is Total Beauty Junction, but you can call me TBJ.  I'm a wife, a step-mom, daughter, sister co-business owner, licensed cosmetologist, a budding entrepreneur, Christian and a beauty enthusiast.  Anything beauty related, I love it.  I'm also really quirky too.  LOL  You'll like that about me.  I have a weird sense of humor and I can be sarcastic sometimes; but hey, I get it honestly from my genetics.  I decided to start a blog because I wanted to log my ideas, discuss different topics and just share my opinion of things that I encounter in this thing called life.(said in my Prince voice. LOL)

I just recently graduated with my masters.  I have my bachelors in Business Administration and I am waiting on my masters degree to be mailed to me.  My masters is in Educational Leadership in Higher Education.  I currently work in higher education, which is very interesting to say the least.  I work for an HBCU.  For those of you that do not know what an HBCU is, it is a historically black college/university.  I enjoy working in this environment.  Does it get challenging at times, YES, but what job doesn't.  I'll discuss more about that in another blog post.

Back to what this blog is about, me and what is on my mind.  I will be discussing different products, color techniques, hair styles, the beauty business and other types of businesses.  I will also discuss nail topics too.  I will also discuss politics, but I won't get too deep into that because that can be a sensitive topic.  I will pretty much discuss whatever comes to my mind.  I will discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly, grimy aspect of it all.  Why not?!?  You all need to know this information!  You all want to know this information! Trust me, you really do want to know.  However, this stuff will be all my opinion and how it has affected me or someone that I know or have encountered.  

I will be getting you all involved too.  So, don't be shy.  Share your comments, ideas for this blog.  If I didn't say previously, I'm new to this blogging thing, so all ideas are welcomed.  I may not use them all, but I will read them and take them into consideration. (depending on the idea.) 

I also, like to learn new things too.  I am very receptive to new techniques, looks and ideals.  I love makeup, so I'll be talking about that too.  

Like I said before, I love anything beauty related.  I always have and always will, probably.   I just ask that we all be considerate and respectful to each other and their opinions.  We will not always agree, so when that happens, let's be adults and agree to disagree and move on to the next big and great thing.
